Yangon Love Children's Home

“Serve the Least” (Matthew 25:40)

Yangon Love Children’s Home is a non-profit orphanage in Yangon, Myanmar, dedicated to giving vulnerable children the love, care, and support they deserve. Our mission is simple yet powerful — to provide a safe home, nourishing meals, quality education, and moral guidance for children who have lost parents or come from difficult backgrounds.

We believe every child should grow up with dignity, hope, and opportunity. At our home, children are not only sheltered but also nurtured with compassion, encouragement, and values that help them grow into responsible and confident individuals.

Through the kindness of donors, volunteers, and community partners, we are able to offer more than just basic needs. We create a family environment where children feel loved and supported, while building a brighter future through learning and personal development.

Together, we can transform lives — one child at a time. By supporting Yangon Love Children’s Home, you are giving more than charity; you are giving love, hope, and the promise of a better tomorrow.

Brief History

My name is Rev. Victor Tui Dawn, a pastor and Christian leader, and the Founder of Yangon Love Children’s Home (YLCH).

From 2000 to 2016, I served in full-time ministry in Matupi Township, Chin State, Myanmar. During that time, God gave me a strong vision to serve, protect, and care for orphans and abandoned children.

Although family and financial challenges delayed this calling, in 2017, God reminded me clearly through His Word:

Rev. Victor Tui Dawn & His Wife

“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me.” (Matt 25:40)

With faith alone and no financial support, I started Yangon Love Children’s Home in 2017 with only three children in a small rented house in North Okkalapa, Yangon. In 2018, our family grew to eight children, and by 2019, we were caring for twelve. Since 2020, we have been blessed to look after fifteen children. Despite many difficulties and several moves from North Okkalapa to North Dagon and later East Dagon, God has always provided for our needs.

Since 2023, we have been staying in a peaceful garden home in East Dagon Township, where our children continue to grow in love, learning, and faith.

I also feel sad that there are still many children who need care and protection. Because of financial and practical difficulties, we are not able to accept them yet. Many of these children are still living in refugee camps and poor communities, waiting for help and hope.

Our Mission

At Yangon Love Children’s Home, our mission is to love, protect, and educate orphaned and vulnerable children.
We aim to help them grow into responsible, kind, and capable individuals who can one day contribute positively to their communities.

Our main goals:

  • Education: Provide quality education and guidance for a better future.

  • Moral and Spiritual Growth: Teach values, discipline, and compassion to build strong character and faith.

  • Vocational Training: Offer skill-based learning for children who prefer practical training over formal education.

  • Food and Accommodation: Ensure every child has daily meals, safe shelter, and a loving family environment.

While we thank God every day for His blessings, many more children in refugee camps and poor communities still need help. Because of limited resources, we are not yet able to welcome more children.

With your partnership and support, we can continue to provide food, shelter, education, and hope — giving these children a brighter and more secure future.

Our Vision

At Yangon Love Children’s Home (YLCH), our vision is to build a strong and sustainable non-profit organization that can continue to care for, educate, and empower orphaned and abandoned children in Myanmar.

To achieve this, we have developed a long-term plan that focuses on three main goals:

1. Strengthening the Orphanage Organization

Our first goal is to establish a well-structured and self-sustaining orphanage that can continue to provide food, shelter, and care for more children in need.

At present, we care for 15 children, but many others still live in refugee camps or poor conditions. In the future, we hope to expand our capacity to support up to 100 children and more, offering them a safe and loving home. To reach this goal, we need continuous financial support for food, rent, utilities, and daily needs. Every contribution helps us give these children a stable home and a chance at a better life.

2. Establishing a Private School

Education is the foundation of every child’s future. As the number of children in our care grows, we plan to establish our own Private School to provide quality education directly to our children and others in the community. This school will help ensure that every child receives proper attention, guidance, and learning opportunities regardless of their background.

Funding for this plan will go toward land, classroom construction, teaching materials, and hiring qualified teachers. With your help, we can create a nurturing learning environment that will shape the next generation for a brighter future.

3. Establishing a Vocational Training Center

Not every child excels in formal education, and that’s why our third goal is to open a Vocational Training Center for practical skill development.
This center will help children who are less interested in academic studies to learn real-life skills and become independent professionals.
Training programs will include:

  • Basic Computer Skills

  • Sewing and Tailoring

  • Printing and Graphic Design

  • Mobile Phone Repair

  • Cooking and Baking

  • Beauty and Hairdressing

Through this program, our children will gain confidence, employable skills, and the ability to build a stable livelihood. Funding for this project will be used for equipment, training materials, and instructor support.

Invitation to Donors and Supporters

We warmly welcome donors, partners, and visitors to be part of this mission. Your support whether through financial donations, educational materials, skill-sharing, or volunteering will directly shape the future of our children and help us grow into a strong, impactful non-profit organization.

Together, we can give orphaned and abandoned children not only a home, but also hope, education, and a future.
