At Yangon Love Children’s Home (YLCH), we believe caring for children means nurturing their spiritual, emotional, educational, and physical growth. Our home is full of love, learning, and joy — where every activity helps the children grow in faith and character.

International Children’s Day
📅 June 1st (Every Year)
We celebrate Children’s Day with songs, games, and a special meal. It reminds our children that they are loved and valued by God and by everyone who cares for them.
International Day of Peace
📅 September 21st (Every Year)
On the International Day of Peace, the children learn about love, forgiveness, and unity. They create art and messages about peace, pray for Myanmar and the world, and reflect on how to live peacefully with others. It is a day to teach them that true peace begins in the heart and spreads through kindness and understanding.
Birthday Celebration
📅 Every December
As we care for many children, we host a large birthday celebration each year for everyone together. We bake a cake, sing birthday songs, and give each child a small gift. It is a joyful and memorable day for the whole family.
Father’s Day and Mother’s Day
📅 Father’s Day: June
📅 Mother’s Day: May
We teach the children to love and respect parents, guardians, and elders. They perform songs, make handmade gifts, and express appreciation for the people who care for them.
Christmas Celebration
📅 December 25th
Christmas is one of the happiest days of the year at YLCH. The children decorate the home, sing carols, perform plays, and share the story of Jesus’ birth. We also prepare a special meal and distribute small gifts, celebrating the joy of giving and love.
New Year Celebration
📅 January 1st (Every Year)
The New Year Celebration is a joyful way to begin the year together. The children share prayers of thanksgiving, sing songs, and enjoy a festive meal. We also pray for a peaceful and blessed year ahead — for our children, sponsors, and everyone who supports YLCH.
Sport Day
📅 February (Every Year)
Once a year, we hold a Sport Day filled with fun and teamwork. The children play football, run races, and enjoy team games that promote health, discipline, and friendship.
Summer Educational Trip
📅 April or May (Once a Year)
Each year, during the summer holidays, we organize a short educational trip or picnic. Children visit parks, museums, or historical places, learning about their country and creating happy memories together.
World Environment Day
📅 June 5th (Every Year)
On World Environment Day, the children learn to care for God’s creation. They help clean the compound, plant trees, and learn about protecting nature. It teaches them to be responsible citizens who care for their environment.
Prayer / Fasting Day
📅 Once Every Month
Once a month, YLCH observes a Prayer and Fasting Day. We pray for our children’s health and education, for our sponsors and supporters, and for God’s continued guidance over our home. It is a meaningful time to strengthen faith, reflect, and give thanks to God for His blessings.
Morning and Evening Devotion
⏰ Morning Devotion: 5:00 – 6:00 AM
⏰ Evening Devotion: 6:00 – 7:00 PM
Each day begins and ends with prayer, worship, and reflection. In the morning, children sing hymns, read the Bible, and pray for strength and guidance for the day. In the evening, they thank God for His care and share what they have learned. These daily devotions help the children grow in faith, discipline, and gratitude.
Sunday Worship
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Every Sunday)
Sunday is a special day of worship and fellowship. The children attend church, sing worship songs, listen to Bible messages, and enjoy Sunday School together. It is a joyful time for spiritual growth and unity as one family in Christ.
At Yangon Love Children’s Home, every day is a gift filled with learning, love, and faith. Through these activities, we guide our children to grow strong in spirit, mind, and body — preparing them to live with purpose and compassion.
Visitors and Volunteers Are Welcome
We warmly welcome visitors, donors, and volunteers who wish to join our daily devotions, worship services, or special events. If you would like to visit or participate, please contact us in advance so we can arrange a suitable time and ensure the children’s schedule is not disturbed.
